Ziyi Sheng is a PhD student in the Mu Lab since Jan 2026. He obtained his MSc degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Copenhagen and his BSc degree in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern Polytechnical University. Prior to his PhD, his research focused on RNA language models and computational modeling of CRISPR/Cas gene-editing systems. His current research interests lie in AI-driven generative modeling for biomolecular design.
