Mu Lab

Juxin Fa is a PhD student in the Mu Lab starting from Sept 2025. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics and Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo, followed by a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining the Mu Lab, he worked on (i) applying AI for methane monitoring, (ii) developing federated learning frameworks, and (iii) building classification models for SLE-associated thrombocytopenia. For his PhD studies, he is focusing on applying AI for the precision diagnosis and treatment of sarcomas.
